Vyv gets a facelift....

Dissapointment

Hopped into the Westy yesterday to take it for a drive and managed to collect the indicator stalk with my left leg. The inside disintegrated. Being left hand drive the indicator stalk is the first line of defence and it failed miserably.

Currently trying to patch it up so I at least have indicators pending a replacement unit 8-(

Westfalia going back together

Back in April I ripped out the interior of my newly acquired 1971 Westfalia Camper (tin top)... All about cleaning and minor repairs




Out comes the drinks cabinet as the first component to be removed. Should have drained the water tank first though! This was the most difficult part to remove due to the drainage going under the van and the vent going to the roof. The rest was pretty easy. Everything is…
