Spotted - Gorgeous Rag Top Bug

Was just down at my local shopping centre this morning and spotted this stunning bug. The owner had just started up and raised the air bag suspension. I had to go over and complement him as this is exactly the sort of bug I am keeping my eye out for.

Interior had been completely redone, full complement of gauges, air bag suspension, standard motor and very tastefully accessorised, with all the work carried out by the owner. Very nice. …

Salt Run Down

After a 3,200km round trip the beetle and ghia are back at Mullerville, while away these two cars set some records, here is my quick summary of an exciting and eyeopening week away..

It was an early start Sarturday morning, plan was to drive for as long a possible, we all got away at about 5am, three T5's with 2 trailers. Steve and myself towing the Ghia, Greg and Bill with the beetle, Adrain and Edwin carrying some spare engines, tools and supplies. First fuel up just up…
