When i was a young bloke back in the 70's as an apprentice motorbike tech i got hooked on VW'S & Porsches inbetween Dragbike Racing back home in Sydney. I have a couple of streetbikes as well ( suzuki gsx1400 naked & a Triumph t595 955cc Daytona sportsbike although one of these will have to go shortly to further my Oval's progress ( 55 Oval on a 70IRS pan, EJ20 inj & a few other mods. After not being around VW's virtually for a few decades its inspiring to see that the VW community has grown signifently. thanks for the welcome.

Thank you for the welcome Ash.. yes this is a very lovely area of British Columbia.

I've owned the 63 Beetle for 41/2 years now and did the restro myself. It's a lot of fun and enjoying it in my late years.

You have a great site and lots of wonderful VW's here.

Thanks Ash! Yes I was at the 2011 Boris Picnic. The dub has gone lower since then though and she'll probably go a little bit more lower soon ;) I'm gutted I wasn't able to make the Big Blue cruise though. I just watched the video you made and it seems I really missed out =\
