Salt Run Down

After a 3,200km round trip the beetle and ghia are back at Mullerville, while away these two cars set some records, here is my quick summary of an exciting and eyeopening week away..


It was an early start Sarturday morning, plan was to drive for as long a possible, we all got away at about 5am, three T5's with 2 trailers. Steve and myself towing the Ghia, Greg and Bill with the beetle, Adrain and Edwin carrying some spare engines, tools and supplies. First fuel up just up…
