"Good luck Steve! It took me over 250 Hp in the Ghia to break 130 mph. I hope that you have over 350 Hp in that bus to break 130 mph. I for one would love to see it happen!"

Bonneville Ghia Home but Broken.

I had a blast at Bonneville and enjoyed meeting some new faces. The Ghia ran 91.5 mph with the 1500cc Okrasa and 122 mph with the Big engine until I blew it up. I had my first run with the bigh engine where I burried the speedometer at 85 mph by the 1/4 mile marker but the timing system falied. The next run I was at 80 mph by the 1/4 mile marker and turned in the 122 mph run, I believe I was faster the first run but will never know. 3 rd run ventilated the crankcase so ended the day for me.…See More
