Hi Guys, Thanks for the nudge. We have setup a blog but I'm yet to get 5 minutes to write anything. Will definitely get to it this week though.

volkstrek.com for those that want to book mark it.

Don't forget we have plenty of time to do it so there'll be something like two 2.5 hour stints on driving days and days here and there where we don't drive any significant distance at all. This is all yet to be decided of course. First meeting is today actually (that right David? You still coming to visit?)

Nice one Wal. Get plenty of 'in progress' pics and we'll feature it in the 2011 issue's projects page.
It'd be great to get it on the trip. And I'm freaking out about how much I need to do to Granny before she is fit!

its along way off but this is the bus i will be driving from coffs to melb, adel
then onto perth.
its called the cactus kombi which will become apparent in the near future why this name, at the moment i have been ripping my shop & home apart & renovating as jann (my partner) & i have been shop keepers for 11 years now
& its time for expansions.
since our village is surrounded by national parks coffs council is reluctant to let any development happen here compared to the other villages in the area boom time for houses up this way its unbelievable whats been approved but mullaway
is a sleepy quiet village yiiihhaaarrrrrrr.
with the shop we are expanding to cafe with internet cafe & with the wedding side as we don't advertise but still get bookings with ease ie phone call on sat to book both buses then on monday young girl with father walk in & book both buses, im a bit worried about doing a web page as just word of mouth is doing us well.
woops gone off track a bit but hey its going to be a big year ahead for me & jann

Dave, this will be an epic trip. What is the total km count? Would everyone put their cars/buses on the train in Perth to come back? Awesome idea mate.
