Hello Everyone,
Here are the details for our VW get together next Sunday at Maleny Dairies. ALL ARE WELCOME!

I have suggested we aim to be at the Dairy for 11am, this will let us park the VW's settle ourselves and grab a coffee (YES KOMBI KOFFEIN IS COMING!!!) before we start to make our lunches, also the baby animals need their morning milk! awwwww we can then relax and kick back and leave when we like, if we are there long enough we get to feed the animals in the afternoon as well! double awwwwww

There are 2 BBQ plates, undercover area, toilets, and factory prices on milk, flavoured milk, custard and yoghurt! so please I encourage you to bring an esky (I can give you ice blocks) and purchase a little something to support this local business and employer. For more details about the dairy visit www.malenydairies.com (please remember the dairy is shut and we will have sole use so tours are not running, you will just have me!)

RUNS..

OK Bad little buggers www.blbvw.org.au have posted (on the run sheet under the events section) that they will meet at BP service centre Morayfield on the HWY (Northern end of the car park) at 9.30am to leave at 10am sharp to cruise up to the dairy, so this will cover anyone who is coming from that neck of the woods, so Goldcoast and Brissy and anyone else down that way you could meet up there and cruise together which sounds wonderful  So you guys will be exiting at Glasshouse Mountains/Beerwah exit and will be heading on the Steve Irwin Way following signs to Landsborough and then Maleny Via Landsborough,

OK Coast people been thinking rather that start at Ettamogah pub shall we try the Rustic Cabin instead?

Rustic Cabin is under full restoration and is located on the right at the Steve Irwin Way entrance. so leave Caloundra and head for Landsborough / Glasshouse Mountains Tourist Drive, swing to the left heading to the Hinterland, there is a state car park located right next to the Rustic Cabin or there is a pull in on the left by the Mooloolah Cemetary where you could meet up and move on together. Meet at 10am or 10.15am I will look for advice on this as I will already be at Dairy setting everything up.

OR you can make your own way there no pressure see you at the Dairy at 11am

OK everybody when you hit Landsborough go through the town you will approach a roundabout look to the left you will see Edna aka 71Notch give her a wave then carry on up the hill to Maleny.....hopefully there will be no problem everyone getting up the hill!! it is about 15km to the top. as you get to the top remember to look on your left you will see the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains and to your right the Coast, bloody beautiful! now as you get to the top you can carry on going on the Landsborough Maleny Road until you see a left turn for McCarthy Road turn left here and then carry on this road untill you see Maleny Dairies on your right.

OR you could swing a left at Mountain View Road (Antiques shop and restaurants here) past the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve here you will see the most beautiful view of the mountains, carry on on Mountain View Road and then you will see a Right turn McCarthy Road turn right here carry on down and the Dairy is on the left. I will put out a couple of VW signs just in case but it is real easy.

So bring your VW, Family, Friends, food, drink, chair, football, cricket set or whatever else you want to bring and see you there! (sorry no dogs)

PHEW..... can't wait to see everyone ANY problems on the day or before please ring or text me 0423 173226 Syreeta aka 71Notch

A rough idea of people attending would be great
