we just picked up a 68 semi auto beetle
will sort out the semi auto clunkyness first then rust repair in the battery area
thinking of lowering the front - whats the go here - will 2&1/2 inch dropped spindles do the trick ??
advice would be nice
also need some rusty roof racks if anyone got em

Looking great Billy. I love the no bumper look.

finishing body work at Tim J's
roof rack from 150 something with new bracket as made by tim
What about a pic or two of Jack now with the new beam? I bet he looks cool now.
a photo that Mr Bodgy took of Jack on his barrowed beam with adjusters - happened to be during the dust haze which gave jack a nice hue

Mr Bodgy did the narrowed beam as documented by himself (Tim Aka Dirtbag) on AVD

if you got a beetle and want a beam with adjusters drop mr bodgy a line
nice work. just read bodgy's thread on aussieveedubbers. all looks pretty straight forward. who woulda thought a ball join beam would be easier than a link pin.

glad you got the scrubbing sorted Billy, the cars looking great, especially with the early front guards. cant wait to come see you guys and your rides. do you still do your thursday mental health day? if so i'll prob come see yas on the last thursday of October as i'll be at the sunny coast anyways.

i am happy with jack's stance and mechanicals - just have to sort out electrical glitchs with indicators and then get him through road worthy
