Our EG33 Powered Baja Bus
For those of you that know myself and Eileen we have for the last couple of years been playing on and off (more off than on some would say ) with the rebuild of Eileen's Baja Bus
:
Power Plant : EG 33 Subaru flat six ( Dyno'd at 170 rwhp !!!!!!! )
Gearbox : Currently a brocken stock 091 2lt kombi box , soon to be a subie 5 speed or a tuff albins geared 091
Wheels and tyres : 7 X 15 rims all round with different offsets front and rear
33" Mud terrains on the rear
235 / 75's on the front
Body mods : 4" front suspension drop ( chassis boxed down )
Rear Guards cut out , welded up and fibreglass flares fitted
Stock fuel tank removed and a 100lt fuel tank fitted in rear seat location
Custom middle seat moved back approx 300mm which will fold foward as a bed base
Mazda MX5 front seats soon
Subaru climate control ac unit (to be fitted all behind modified dash with a custom air
intake .
New inner and outer sills fitted , new inner and outer front front guards fitted , all rust cut
out and new metal fully welded in
Custom made lower nose section with alloy bull bar to suit which also houses the radiator
