My Vee Dub story so far.....
Hello everyone, On the 24th January 2009 I acuired a 1976 bay window camper (auto) (PROJECT) at the age of 12, yes that's right 12. And on the 31st October last year I purchased a '62 beetle (another project). I am now 14 years of age. Also I am awaiting confirmation of a Splitty 11 window.. Last week end my dad and I installed 2 and 1/2 inch drop spindles to my beetle, here is the before and after shots.

Great to see Russell. Your Dad must also love his VW's to let you buy a Kombi at 12. I'm impressed. Looking forward to seeing progress on your vehicles.

My dad has never owned or really wanted a VW but used to go to VW car shows. My dad is more into geniune Hot Rods and kustom cars. He has never had experience working on Volkswagens before but his brother had a beetle and they used to cruze in it until it caught on fire. My dads brother (my uncle) now has a '58 beetle which is white and has red side panels. Very nice car.
